Helpful Websites that support literacy for ELL students

ccbb.jpgChicka Chicka Boom Boom is a book in which all of the lowercase letters of the alphabet climb the coconut tree. The tree bends because of all the weight and the letter fall out. The uppercase letters then come and take card of their “little ones”. It is great for teaching alphabet knowledge. It is written by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault.

Age Level: Pre K-1

Proficiency Level: Pre-Production/Beginner
